My task was to create a complex board game on an exciting topic. Black holes and their reputation for hungrily devouring all matter around them have always fascinated me.

The challenge I set myself was to develop an aesthetically pleasing design that combines a geometric, minimalist design language with functionality. All elements on each card reflect the number it represents. The more special the action on the card, the more detailed the design elements. The game board is intended to appear mystical and elegant and was made as a 3D model in Blender. A rotating element gives the game more interactivity.

G-STORY
LOGO IDENT ANIMATION FOR AUGSBURG FACULTY OF DESIGN
oktoberfest_HG-burr.jpg

The Fakultät Gestaltung at Hochschule Augsburg has established a format in which the G is to be animated in a variety of ways. These logo idents are intended to create identity and show diversity at the same time while acting as eye-catchers and eye-candy. Our logo ident is a colorful, fast, crazy and surprising frame-by-frame animation implemented in Adobe Animate. The concept is to depict the G as a G-spot, which is the meeting point where Augsburg designers are drawn to. This is where creativity explodes and design life pulsates. The G transforms into a spot that experiences bizarre things, only to become the G again.
